Holding statement | Product recall of certain Stokke® YOYO³ strollers

Stokke® places the highest priority on the safety and quality of our products since our company began producing children’s products five decades ago. That is why we make sure that each Stokke® product exceeds relevant regulatory standards and continually test and retest to ensure safety, high quality and performance for the families that rely on our range of solutions.

 

We recently identified a potential parking brake issue in certain Stokke® YOYO³ strollers that could result in an unintentional release of the brake during use. While there have been no consumer reports of parking brake malfunctions, out of caution we have initiated a recall of the affected Stokke® YOYO³. This issue is limited to Stokke® YOYO³ strollers with a serial number that begins with ‘142AA’, followed by numbers that fall below ‘0062239’.

 

It is important to note that the potential issue is not present in prior models of the YOYO stroller line, or in YOYO³ strollers with different serial numbers than listed above.

 

YOYO³ models with these serial numbers are the only strollers included in this recall and we are notifying customers who purchased these strollers to stop using them. The notification asks customers to use an online recall portal: https://recall.stokke.com/yoyo3 to easily check whether their YOYO³ is included in the recall and, if so, to register for a replacement of the stroller frame.

 

Stokke® has also asked our retail partners to stop selling the impacted YOYO³.
